Bryan Abasolo files for divorce from Rachel Lindsay

After nearly more than six years together, Bachelor Nation couple Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo have parted ways. According to PEOPLE, Abasolo is the one who filed divorce papers on Sunday, December 31st, 2023 and cited "irreconcilable differences."

This comes as a shocker if you've been following the couple since they got together, and for most of us, was completely unexpected. I'm not sure if Bachelor Nation was aware the couple was at odds or on the outs!

In either case, the divorce papers were submitted, and soon as the all the t's are crossed and i's are dotted, it will be official. Whatever might have caused a rift in their marriage? We tell you everything we know below!

Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo are no longer together

Abasolo took to Instagram to share the couple's shocking news stating, "After more than 4 years of marriage, Rachel and I have made the difficult decision to part ways and start anew." He went on to ask for privacy and respect as the two figure out what comes next and how to figure out where their lives are going to lead next.

Abasolo and Lindsay first met on The Bachelorette in 2017 and married in 2019. As recent as September, Lindsay was talking about her and Abasolo starting a family. It's tough to accept that this has happened, especially when Abasolo and Lindsay were one of the few couples to make it out of the show together.

This makes it yet another Bachelor Nation couple to call it quits in recent days. Three couples called it quits following the most recent season of Bachelor in Paradise, marking a new low for the barrage of unsuccessful relationships to emerge from the franchise. It is weird times, and we can only hope that no other Bachelor Nation couples will be announcing any breakups in the near future (please, don't let Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici ever break up!).
