Bachelor in Paradise will return for Season 10 in 2025

For a minute there Bachelor Nation was worried about the fate of Bachelor in Paradise. It had been months since it last premiered, and ABC was not giving us any updates on what was going to happen with the show.
However, we finally got updates last week during Disney's Television Critics Association panel. It was announced that Paradise is indeed returning, but it will not be until next year, according to Deadline. No premiere date or timeline was provided, but Season 9 did air in the fall last year, so it will either follow suit or return to its usual summer slot.
Given that the Bachelor Nation catalog of shows has grown to include The Golden Bachelor and now The Golden Bachelorette, it makes sense that ABC has to adjust its filming/premiere schedule. We will definitely be keeping our eyes and ears open for any updates in the following months to come.
Looking back at Bachelor in Paradise
The fact that Paradise's fate was hanging in the balance makes quite a bit of sense to me. Now, maybe you don't agree with me, but hear me out. In Season 9, there wasn't much going on during the season, and it did not have that factor that we all love about it. Not to mention, of the three couples that left engaged, all of them broke up within days of the finale airing.
I mean, that had to be a record for Bachelor Nation breakups right?
Then there was season 8 which had a similar vibe but a touch of drama that kept us engaged including Victoria Fuller and Johnny DePhillipo's whole debacle.
If we are being honest, this show has lost some of its appeal, but despite that, this series is still more entertaining than the other two shows. There is also the more realistic component of it where the contestants spend a lot of time together and get to know each other on a deeper level than what you have access to during one-on-one and group dates.
I'm really hoping with about a year hiatus (or around there) that Bachelor in Paradise gets a moment to get back to its original roots. It truly thrives when it gives us the drama we all love and crave from Bachelor Nation shows.
Here's to hoping!
