The Golden Bachelorette could soon become its own reality show, especially as we approach the season one finale of The Golden Bachelor. There has not been an official confirmation as of yet, nor has there been an inkling that this could actually happen.

However, if we had to theorize, I wouldn’t say it is out of the realm of possibilities. After all, The Golden Bachelor has been a resounding success! It only makes sense, doesn’t it?

Is The Golden Bachelorette ABC’s next Bachelor Nation series?

While chatting with Entertainment Tonight, host Jesse Palmer answered the question that has been on everyone’s mind–is The Golden Bachelorette happening or what?

His response was as to be expected–full of hope, but no confirmation or reassurance.

“I really hope we do it. I’ve been clamoring for it as well,” Palmer said. “I just love the group of women on Gerry’s season. I can’t single one out specifically. I think there’s a number that would be phenomenal Golden Bachelorettes and that are very deserving of that opportunity.”

I have a list of contestants that I think would make an amazing Golden Bachelorette, including third runner-up Faith. She is so deserving of a chance at love, and it truly did feel like, for a moment, she had found it with Gerry.

My heart broke when they hugged during the Women Tell All–and when she basically said she would always love him. It just didn’t feel right that she didn’t end up engaged to him, but it is what it is. But her experience is exactly why she should be one of the most sought out leads for a potential The Golden Bachelorette.

During the same interview, Palmer was asked if there would ever be a Golden Bachelor in Paradise series, but that didn’t seem to have as much confidence behind it. He simply stated that it would be fun to see a bunch of seniors hanging out at a retirement home in Florida. That would be quite hiliarous, to be honest!

Who knows, maybe once there are enough “past” contestants, a Golden Bachelor in Paradise just might be a possibility.
