The Golden Bachelor is doing hometowns this week! It’s wild to believe we are already at this point, isn’t it?

It’s been an emotional journey for our senior Bachelor thus far, and from the looks of it, it is only going to get more so. If you watched last week’s promo, then you know that things are going to get very difficult for Gerry.

When he goes to each of the hometowns, not only will be contending with the contestants’ kids, but also their grandkids. That’s going to be just a tad bit different than what other Bachelors have had to face in the past.

And that’s just the icing on the cake–there is plenty to look forward to when The Golden Bachelor does hometowns this week.

The Golden Bachelor heads to hometowns

This week’s Gerry Turner will be visiting the hometowns of Leslie, Faith, and Theresa. In the promo, the Golden Bachelor admits that it is “intimidating” to get the hard-hitting questions from all the women’s families.

One of the kiddos in the preview says, “You better not hurt my Glamma,” while another states, “I just think that you should be the new Pop Pop.” Talk about pressure!

It’s overwhelming to walk into a situation where you not only have the grandkids hoping you’re the one for their grandmother but also the actual kids. In the promo, Gerry gets questioned by some of the contestants’ children and loved ones, asking about his intentions and pleading for him not to break anyone’s heart.

If we know anything about Gerry, it is that he hates hurting people. I don’t know how this portion of the season is going to play out, but I do worry about how Gerry will handle it. He’s got a sensitive heart, and when emotions are running high, it becomes easier to slip up.

Hopefully, he can handle the pressure of hometowns!

Good luck, Gerry!
