This week’s tagline on The Golden Bachelor is “The tough decisions get tougher,” which couldn’t be more accurate. On all of the Bachelor Nation shows, as the season grows closer to an end, things get tough–and dramatic.

The more women that go home, the tougher it gets to make a decision. You want everyone to stay so no one’s heart is broken, but you also don’t want to keep someone around out of pity.

This is right about where Gerry is now with the remaining women. He wants to figure out who might be the second love of his life, and it’s proven to be more difficult than he imagined.

Gerry loved his first wife so much, and it’s been hard to leave that past behind as he pushes his way forward. And the same holds for all the contestants. We’ve seen many women share that sentiment throughout the season, and I can’t imagine how tough it must be.

As Gerry’s journey continues tonight on The Golden Bachelor, the decisions will get tougher and the emotions will grow stronger. And we will be here for every single second of it all.
