Thursday has finally arrived and with it comes a new episode of The Golden Bachelor, though if you’re to tune in at the top of the hour when 8 p.m. ET rolls around tonight you won’t be greeted by Gerry Turner.

This evening, President Joe Biden will be addressing the nation to discuss the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict. The address will be carried by all broadcast channels including ABC, which will bring audiences coverage of Biden’s address at the top of the hour this evening. As a result of the special news coverage, ABC is having to shift its primetime programming lineup which means a delayed start for tonight’s new Golden Bachelor.

With ABC planning on bringing viewers live coverage of President Biden’s address at 8 p.m., the network has confirmed its Thursday night lineup will be delayed.

What time is The Golden Bachelor on tonight?

Tonight’s new episode of The Golden Bachelor will begin at roughly 8:22/7:22c on ABC following President Biden’s address.

If you’re not going to watch tonight’s new episode live, you’ll want to set your DVR over by about 30 minutes to ensure you can enjoy the full episode. Otherwise, you’re going to miss the last 22 minutes of the episode including the night’s rose ceremony.

Now, for fans on Mountain Time and Pacific Time, tonight’s new episode will still be airing at the normal airtime kicking off during the show’s normal start time on the West Coast.

In addition to delaying tonight’s new Golden Bachelor episode, ABC has also confirmed that Bachelor in Paradise will begin late with tonight’s episode kicking off at roughly 9:24/8:24c.
