The Golden Bachelor resumes tonight with a dramatic, high-stakes episode. After watching the promo, I am concerned about the turn this season may take after tonight.

It was bound to happen, the drama that is, and I’m worried that it could spoil the wholesome nature of the show. But, perhaps I am being too hasty and assuming the worst because that is what shows from this franchise typically do.

Gerry Turner’s season has shown that it can set itself apart from the chaos of The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, and Bachelor in Paradise. The contestants are so much nicer to one another, praise and uplift one another, and aren’t chasing social media clout.

They are, however, human. And this week’s episode will dig into the emotional side of this experience. Now that some weeks have passed, Gerry has developed stronger feelings for some women, and vice versa. It is getting harder to say goodbye, and the competition is fierce.

With all these feelings at an all-time high, it is no surprise that the outcome will result in some drama. Please don’t say hurtful words and bring each other down, ladies. We don’t want the drama of the other shows on this one!
