If you’ve settled in on your couch and are waiting for a new episode of Bachelor in Paradise to begin, you might find yourself waiting longer than expected for tonight’s new episode.
Let’s start with the good news: ABC is still going to be airing a new episode of Bachelor in Paradise season 9. This evening, a new episode is planned… it just won’t be starting at the show’s normal start time.
This evening, President Joe Biden will be addressing the US in primetime as the president looks to discuss the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict in a live address. The president’s address is slated to begin at 8 p.m. and will be broadcast on all major broadcast networks including ABC. As a result of the special coverage, ABC has been forced to delay tonight’s new Golden Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise episodes.
What time is Bachelor in Paradise on tonight?
Typically, ABC’s Thursday night primetime block begins at 8/7c with a new episode of The Golden Bachelor leading into a new episode of Bachelor in Paradise at 9/8c. Tonight, due to President Biden’s speech, The Golden Bachelor will begin at 8:22 p.m. ET which will delay Bachelor in Paradise‘s new episode with ABC announcing Bachelor in Paradise will begin at roughly 9:24 p.m. ET.
Due to the episode’s delayed start, fans will want to set their DVR over by at least 30 minutes to ensure they’re able to view the full episode. This also means that fans on the East Coast are in for a long night as the episode won’t wrap until almost 11:30 pm. ET this evening due to the episode’s delayed start time.
Tonight’s episode should bring fans plenty of exciting drama when two new men arrive in Paradise ready to find love. This evening, John Henry and John B make their way down the beach and their arrival could spell major trouble for the existing couples. It also seems Wells is going to stir up some drama with the introduction of the Paradise Truth Box which should give us plenty of drama to enjoy!
