The Golden Bachelor continues to be the best show out of this franchise. These women are so lovely! And witty! And as we learn this week, talented!

This week, we have a talented show hosted by the one and only Kaitlyn Bristowe. Seeing Kaitlyn and Gerry onstage together was almost too much to handle.

The Golden Bachelor Season 1, Episode 3: Best moment: Girl chats

The women are having girl chats in the mansion, and it still flooring me how considerate and sweet they all are.

Theresa says, “I was so fortunate to get the first date, and I really do feel like I have a good connection with him, but so does Leslie, and so do you, and so do you.” So understanding!

They’re also so funny! We learn that four of them have formed a group called ASKN (an acronym for their names), whose motto is “You’re askn, we’re tellin.”

Sure, there’s some semi-catty backtalk, but they’re all so warm and charming that it doesn’t sting the same way as it usually does on The Bachelor.

The Golden Bachelor Season 1, Episode 3: Worst moment: Joan goes home

Joan and Gerry have a lovely one-on-one date after she wins the talent show with her poem, but the next day is not all roses.

Gerry arrives at the mansion, and Joan tells him she got a text this morning and must go home.

This was so heartbreaking! Gerry says he was “out of bed dancing” this morning, and he understands, “Sometimes the right thing to do is the hardest.”

They are both crying. How do I watch this???

Joan also drops this doozy on the limo ride home: “As you get older, you become more invisible.”

Excuse me while I go sob in the corner.

Gerry, we don’t like to see you cry. Please always stay smiling.
