Bachelor in Paradise Season 9, Episode 3: Best and worst moments

It’s episode 3 of Bachelor in Paradise, and this week it’s the girls’ turn to hand out the roses!

We begin with a great behind-the-scenes look at the women getting ready for the day. I’m sorry, but this doesn’t look very good. It’s so sandy and humid, and all their makeup products are scattered everywhere– Paradise!

We also learn Sean has excellent brown hipster glasses– can he wear those all the time?

Aaron S gives us a monotonous recap in a profoundly uninterested voice (way to kick this week off with a bang), and we learn that several couples are going strong! I’m sure that will change.

Bachelor in Paradise Season 9, Episode 3: Best moment: Tanner’s arrival

Finally! Tanner got next to no airtime on Gabby and Rachel’s season, but he always intrigued me. The few moments I saw of him and Gabby together showed a great sense of humor and what looked like some good makeouts, but we never really got to know him!

Tanner rolls up to the beach to general fanfare. Will says his heart dropped when he saw him, and the guys started panicking because Tanner was so good-looking.

Kat says she is “shaking.” A lot of strong reactions!

I’m glad he’s finally getting the credit he deserves!

When Tanner and Jess talk and he compliments her suit, she says, “Thank you, I was bloated today, so I put a one-piece on.” Lol.

Tanner is so top drawer he even gets away with not knowing who Blake is. You don’t know Bachelor royalty Blake Moynes??? You must be important.

Tanner ends up asking Kat out on his “wild ride” date of horseback riding. Poor Brayden, but also, Brayden is awesome, and he will be fine. He says he is crossing his “fingers, toes, legs, and eyes” that it works out.

Bachelor in Paradise Season 9, Episode 3: Worst moment: Tyler and Rachel

I’m sorry. Does anyone believe Tyler and Rachel are going to get together? She took him to hometowns and dumped him right before meeting his family! Should they get together if she liked THREE other guys on her season better than him?

I cannot.

Tyler ends up asking Mercedes on the date, thankfully! Let’s not revive old failed flames.
