The Golden Bachelor: How old are the contestants on Season 1?

The Golden Bachelor is about two weeks away from premiering! This new series is exciting, and Bachelor Nation cannot wait to see how it unfolds.

We recently learned about the women competing for the Golden Bachelor’s heart, and now we’re revealing the contestants’ ages. Unlike the other shows, the contestants are age-appropriate! How great is that?!

How old are The Golden Bachelor contestants?

There are a total of 22 contestants competing in Gerry’s season. Of these women, seven are 60 years old, and seven are 70 or older, with the rest falling in between.

Here is the full breakdown of the ages:

• 60-65 years old
  • Edith, Faith, Joan, Maria, Marina, Nancy, Natascha, Anna, Leslie, Sylvia, April, Jeanie
• 66-70 years old
  • Susan, Renee, Peggy, Kathy, Patty, Theresa
• 71+ years old
  • Ellen, Christina, Pamela, Sandra

I like the diversity of ages in this group! Since Gerry is 71 years old, this is a solid age range!

We’ve been waiting for The Golden Bachelor for a while now, as it has been promoted since Matt James’ season of The Bachelor. Given the COVID-19 restrictions, the seniors’ health had to be protected, and hence the show was pushed off until conditions were safer.

Luckily, we made it, and the show is about to premiere in just two weeks!

It’s safe to say the world is very excited about Gerry’s journey on The Golden Bachelor. Many fell immediately in love with him as he graced the stage during the Men Tell All special of Charity Lawson’s season. He won over our hearts with his story, and we were never the same again.

I wish him the absolute best as he embarks on this new chapter in his life, and I hope he finds the love of his life (again!).
