Joe Amabile (37) and Serena Pitt (25) were both on the beaches of Paradise in the 7th season of Bachelor in Paradise. Their relationship started very strong, and honestly, they remained that way for the entirety of their time on the show.
As an avid watcher, I just knew that they would end up working out and (hopefully) enjoying a happy life together. Almost a year ago to the day, the pair, after having a decent-in-length engagement, decided to tie the knot at a New York courthouse.
Just this past weekend, they decided to have a huge party and get married…again, but this time out in Charleston, South Carolina!
Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt are one of my favorite Bachelor Nation couples ever!
After being married by the courthouse for a year, Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt decided that now was the time to have a big ceremony to celebrate their marriage. They decided to get married at a gorgeous venue out in Charleston, South Carolina.
Although the couple has no necessary ties to this particular location, they just wanted to choose a place where their family and friends could make new memories and have fun. Given that many people were traveling to be there, they also wanted a location that was easily accessible for everyone!
Here’s what Serena Pitt had to say about their choice of location:
"We wanted to pick a fun weekend getaway city that was accessible to most of our family and friends and had a venue we loved…Charleston is so beautiful and the minute we visited the city and The Cedar Room we could instantly envision our wedding there."
As far as drinks go, that was something that Joe and Serena were making a priority for each of their 134 wedding guests. According to Amabile (Joe, not Serena):
"High-end alcohol was top of the list…We wanted it to be a party but also for our guests to be in an environment that was filled with fun and positive energy."
Well, indeed, there was no shortage of fun going on at this wedding, because all of the posts, stories, pictures, and videos said nothing otherwise. All that attended seemed to have all sorts of highly positive energies that carried them through the all the night(s), including the night of their welcome dinner that they had for everyone!
Still on the subject of drinks, came the bartender. Who else, but Mr. Paradise himself, Wells Adams! Not only is he an excellent bartender (although we OG’s still love Jorge way more), but he is also an officiant! He was truly honored to marry such a beautiful couple, to whom he saw their entire relationship blossom before his eyes.
Next on the list of priorities was the food, of course! Here’s what Serena Pitt and Joe Amabile had to say about planning their menu and making sure that some menu items drew some inspiration from their beautiful venue of Charleston:
"Hors d’oeuvres had a “southern flair” before a plated dinner, followed by an “awesome” dessert bar, passed mini espresso martinis as well as some delicious late night bites. “There will be no shortage of food at our wedding."

What do you make of all of this? Will Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt last?
