Welcome to the finale of The Bachelorette Season 20 with Charity Lawson! This week, Charity came to her final and harder-than-ever decision to decide who she wanted to spend the rest of her life with. That person was none other than…Dotun! Congratulations to the super happy couple; we cannot wait to see what the future holds for both of them!
I genuinely think that besides the whole Aaron-coming-back stunt this season, Charity was dialed in and knew exactly what she wanted.

Okay, let’s talk…
So, this week, Charity’s chosen one and the brand-new Bachelor were revealed. Charity’s family seemed to favor Dotun over Joey this week, so it was super interesting to see where those opinions came into play versus her very own opinion…share your thoughts below with us!
Since only Dotun and Joey left this week, we will go over each of the guys’ (including Aaron B…cue the eye roll) most heroic and villainous moments, if there were any!
The Bachelorette Season 20 finale: Heroes and villains
Aaron B.’s most heroic and villainous moments
Just showing up, to me, is classless. There’s a time and a place to re-hash your feelings for her, and this wasn’t it. Next time, have a good old-fashioned Zoom call with her and call it a day…please, and thanks. I didn’t have anything heroic, per se, written down for Aaron B. this week. I disagree with what he did and how he handled it, but I give him a ton of credit just for returning. It couldn’t have been easy to know that you could fly all this way just to get rejected and right back on another flight home.
I wish him the best of luck in Paradise, although we have what will happen here…
Joey’s most heroic and villainous moments
The way that his face alone reacted when Aaron B. showed up at the rose ceremony instead of Xavier was so freaking hilarious. It made me giggle, and I cannot wait for all of the memes of him to come out of it.
He handled himself so well. I felt so bad that Joey was legit about to get down on one knee, and that‘s when Charity decided to stop him. He’ll do wonderfully as the next Bachelor!
Dotun’s most heroic and villainous moments
I felt so bad for him when Charity whisked away Aaron B. at the rose ceremony this week; there was no reason to put him through something like that. I think Dotun handled himself well during this episode, as none of this is easy, especially meeting the family.
Charity’s villainous moments
I have quite the bone to pick with Charity this week. First, how she talks with and acts with Joey is entirely unmatched compared to her with Dotun. I had so much rage inside me when she let Joey say his entire speech and was about to get down on one knee before stopping him. She should’ve spoken first and never let him get all those words in. She also smiled like a nerd from ear to ear the whole time, which gave him a severe case of false hope. I think that Charity handled these final moments poorly. What did you all think?!
That’s a wrap on this week’s list of heroes and villains and this season!
