Let’s get to know Caleb Balgaard: What is his guilty pleasure?
Caleb Balgaard was first seen and introduced on Charity Lawson’s current 20th season of The Bachelorette where she is just about to make her final, most important life choice. Unfortunately, that’s not Caleb B.
However, Bachelor Nation recently caught up with him and asked him a series of questions that helped us to get to know him just a little bit more! Let’s find out things like his favorite movies, guilty pleasures, some takeaways from the show, and so much more!
What’s there not to love about Caleb Balgaard?
In a recent interview with Bachelor Nation, Caleb Balgaard sat down and answered 20 questions all about his life, his favorite things, and of course, some questions about his time on the show. We’re going to go over seven of those questions so you can all get to know him a little bit more right along with us.
In no particular order, here are the top seven questions with Caleb B.!
1. What is his guilty pleasure?
His short and sweet answer was doughnuts. Mainly, he’s a massive fan of Krispy Kreme and even admitted to, sometimes, going there and grabbing a dozen and then eating eight or nine in one sitting. Same, Caleb, same. All I can say is this: I couldn’t agree with you more and would love to sit down and enjoy a dozen with you.
2. What is the best relationship advice he’s ever heard?
He’s heard two great pieces of relationship advice. The first piece of advice that’s his favorite is always to communicate; no one can read minds and shouldn’t be making any assumptions about their partner. The second piece of advice that’s his favorite is that you should always put your partner’s needs above yours and vice versa. Once you both start doing that, it’ll only ever be a never-ending cycle (in a good way) of stopping at nothing to make each other happy. I’m not sure exactly who gave him this advice, but I wanna meet those people and say ‘thank you’ because now I’ll never forget these two super important things.
3. What is his Zodiac sign?
Caleb is a Taurus. He said that he’s almost like a Taurus because no matter what he’s doing, he always tries to be his absolute best at it. He’s also super kind and gentle, and determined!
4. What would his last meal on Earth be?
He seemed to have this super specific answer right on hand. Here it is:
- Steak
- Lobster mac and cheese
- Sweet potato casserole
- Raspberry hard cider
- Cheesecake
Yes, yes, yes, yes, and….yes. I’d like all three of those, regardless if it was my last meal on Earth!
5. What movie(s) has he re-watched the MOST?
He loves the Lord of The Rings trilogy! I’ve never seen those before, but I’ve heard two things: they’re super long movies, but good and worth the watch!
6. Who is his celebrity crush?
Kate Beckinsale. I would not have expected him to say that, and it wouldn’t have been my personal choice if I were him, but to each their own, right? Maybe he’ll get lucky one day; she is single now, after all (since 2019)!
7. What’s his best advice for anyone going on The Bachelorette, and has he kept anything from the show?
First, his best advice read this exactly: “Just be yourself and do your best to be open and honest with everyone.”
Second, he was asked if he still had something from his time on the show. His answer was super sweet to me and made me smile for sure. He still has all of his roses and his pink notebook in which he wrote his song for Charity. Here’s to hoping that he’ll soon have another beautiful girl to write a song about (and sing it well) and sing to her all about it!
