Welcome to week five of The Bachelorette Season 20 with Charity Lawson! So far, Charity’s done an excellent job handling everything gracefully and respectfully, including all the catty drama.

This week was Hometowns Week; it’s actually pretty hard to believe it! It totally feels like Charity’s season was shortened, but that’s okay; we’ve totally enjoyed each and every minute of it!

Since there are only four guys left in the season, instead of ranking our usual five men, we’re just gonna rank the remaining men from worst to best and go from there! If anything else weird happens this week (like any old contestants returning for a vengeance), we’ll let you know!

Our top four ranked from week six of The Bachelorette Season 20!

Aaron B, The Bachelorette
ABC/Craig Sjodin /

#4: Aaron B.

Here’s why I think that Aaron B. deserves the #4 spot this week:

  • He was the only guy not to get a rose and move on to Fantasy Suites next week.

I was never the biggest fan of Aaron B.’s; however, when it comes to this week, I do feel bad for all of the men because I can only imagine how hard it is. They take the presumed girl of their dreams to meet their families, only to get rejected and sent home just a day or two later. As you all may know by now, Aaron B. has officially been rumored to be on Bachelor in Paradise, so here’s to hoping that that experience works out better for him than this did.

Joey Graziadei, The Bachelorette Season 20
ABC/Craig Sjodin /

#3: Joey

Here’s why I think that Joey deserves the #3 spot this week:

  • He got the third and final rose at the rose ceremony this week.

First of all, he should’ve just told her that he was past falling in love and that he was actually in love with her. If I were him, I wouldn’t wait too long because with fantasy suites week coming up, there’s no time like the present, especially when no cameras are around. Joey is such a sweetheart, but I’m genuinely concerned that Charity will bring him this far only to break his heart. Let’s hope that whatever Uncle Joe said this week doesn’t get in her head too much.

Xavier Bonner, The Bachelorette
ABC/Craig Sjodin /

#2: Xavier

Here’s why I think that Xavier deserves the #2 spot this week:

  • This week, he got the second rose of the night at the rose ceremony.

I personally don’t think that Xavier is necessarily ready for real life with Charity outside of the show. I do believe that he has good intentions with her, but because of last week’s comments, it made it seem like he wasn’t ready to commit to just one girl and one girl only. While his knitting date was super cute, it’d be much cuter if he could just make up his mind on whether or not he’s ready for all of this. I hope that things don’t go wrong for either of them.

Dotun Olubeko
ABC/Craig Sjodin /

#1: Dotun

Here’s why I think that Dotun deserves the #1 spot this week:

  • He got the very first rose at the Rose Ceremony this week

Cheers to Dotun, my all-time favorite franchise contestant. I’ve never rooted for someone to be the Chosen One as much as I have been rooting for Dotun since the beginning of time. The only other time that this happened was when I was rooting for Sean to pick Catherine and look where they are now; just saying.

Dotun also had my favorite family of the week and possibly all time. The gifts that his mother surprised Charity with made me laugh and smile all at the same time. The fact that they came from Nigeria to see those two made one thing clear to me: family means everything to Dotun, and he will stop at nothing to protect them!

The sweetest moment of the night: Xavier – he was super patient when teaching Charity how to knit – if she ends up with him, patience is an excellent quality not only in a husband but in a dad.

The cringiest moment of the night: Uncle Joe – no one likes someone who butts into other people’s relationships.
