It’s finally Hometowns! On Monday night’s episode of The Bachelorette Season 20, Charity Lawson traveled across the country to meet the families of her four remaining men.

This was a great episode, and I find myself more conflicted than usual now in the season. Thankfully, there were a lot of hilarious moments to balance out the seriousness!

Families can always be counted upon to deliver some golden quotes. Let’s get to the best quotes from episode 6!

“On our first date, if you asked me ‘Is this man my husband?’ I had no doubts.-“ Charity

Charity drops this doozy of a statement right before Aaron’s hometown. Did she know this on their first date? Wow. Only on The Bachelorette.

“She locked one of my exes in a room for 45 minutes and had a ‘chat’”- Aaron

Aaron takes Charity to meet his parents and reveals this fun fact about his mother. Amazing. I like her!

His mother also has a sign that says, “Ethel’s Kitchen: Keep Out.” Lol.

“I taught myself to impress a girl and knitted her this great maroon scarf…by the time I was ready to give it to her, she had a boyfriend, so I never gave it to her.”- Guy From Knitting Circle

Xavier takes Charity to a knitting society to teach her his favorite pastime, and one of the knitting club members offers this story about why he learned to knit. Sad!! But hilarious. The knitting club members were the shining stars of this episode if not the whole season.

“Wow.”- Jesse Palmer

Charity sits down with Jesse Palmer near the end of the episode, and Jesse says the word “wow” in response to almost everything Charity says. Earning that paycheck! JK, Jesse is the best.
