It’s certainly no secret that the world fell in love with Caleb Balgaard on Charity’s season of The Bachelorette. Last week, he was sent home, and for those questioning whether or not some of the guys had actual feelings for Charity, this guy right here had the biggest feelings out of all of them.
I’ve never felt so sad for someone when they got sent home. Caleb B. seemed like the most genuine guy who really was there for ‘the right reasons’. Because of that, I think that he should be the next Bachelor. While there are so many different reasons why he’d make a great one, let’s go over just a few!
Why would Caleb Balgaard make such a great lead as the next Bachelor?
Here are the top 7 reasons why Caleb B. should be the Bachelor:
1. His smile, his hair, his…everything
Honestly speaking, Caleb Balgaard is possibly one of the most good-looking contestants the show’s ever blessed us with. When the cast first got released, I must admit, I scrolled back to Caleb’s pictures frequently. And for once, I could actually picture him with the lead Bachelorette. While it didn’t quite work out for him and Charity, plenty of other women out there love a long-haired, big-smile, wrestler cowboy. #JusticeForCaleb
2. His genuine intentions will go unmatched
I’ve never really seen a guy cry as he cried before getting sent home, that even I was hurting for. Sure, guys and girls alike have cried after getting sent home, but I’ve never actually felt what they’ve felt through the TV, much like I did with Caleb. He was the no-drama, pure-intentions sort of dude that usually goes unnoticed (and shouldn’t, for that matter) on the show.
3. His season would have some pretty fun dates
Being a WWE NXT wrestler, we just know that there’d be some sort of wrestling-themed date, maybe even joined and judged by some famous female wrestlers from the WWE. I have to say, the female wrestling dates vs. the male wrestling dates are always much funnier because the girls always go straight for the pulling of hair. But of course, someone would probably ‘get hurt’ and need Caleb’s assistance, which we know he would jump in and give right away!
4. We’d get to see more of his super cool fashion sense
I think that Caleb Balgaard was one of the best-dressed male contestants this season, if not ever. He had some pretty fun-patterned suits that he wore at rose ceremonies. When he wasn’t dressing all fancy, we either saw him as a super hot cowboy or just your regular ‘ol guy who loves to dress well and have some fun!
5. We already know that he’s great with kids
Now, whether or not Caleb B. wants kids later in life, we can already tell that the dude’s great with kids. He was laughing with them, smiling at them, and just gave his real undivided attention during last week’s group dates.
6. He’ll treat his woman like a true QUEEN
Just based on how we’ve seen him treat and interact with Charity in his 4 short weeks on the show, I can tell that Caleb is a genuine king who is just looking to spoil and crown his queen. I honestly cannot wait to see what Caleb would be like as the Bachelor because those girls wouldn’t know kindness like his!
7. His singing voice NEEDS to be broadcasted MORE
As we all saw on the Barbie-themed dress-up and singing date, Balgaard definitely has a secret weapon hiding underneath his cowboy hat: a gorgeous singing voice! There would definitely have to be some sort of karaoke-themed date on his season just so we could hear his voice again…and again..
I wish that Caleb would’ve gotten a one-on-one date from Charity! I genuinely believe he would’ve gotten to stick around if she had more time to get to know him and vice versa!
That’s a wrap on why we think that Caleb Balgaard would make the BEST next Bachelor!
What do you think of Caleb B.? Would he make a great Bachelor?
Personally, I just wanted to take this moment to thank Caleb for being such a genuine person on this show. Even though we didn’t get to see enough of him, and his time on the show was super short, you could tell he would never be the one starting drama, rumors, or any other sort of fights. Caleb, I wish you nothing but the best, and hopefully, this isn’t the last that we’ve seen you!
