This week on The Bachelorette Season 20, Charity Lawson and her remaining men traveled to Stevenson, Washington. We had the requisite bungee jumping date, a new frontrunner, and plenty of drama.

Let’s get to the best and worst moments of episode four!

The Bachelorette Season 20, Episode 4: Best moment: Group date in the woods

Charity and a few of her men head into the woods for a good old-fashioned competition headed by three girls who seem to know a lot about how a man should act in nature. Resourcefulness, bravery, and strength are the qualities being measured.

A pretty entertaining group date ensues as the men scavenge for useful things in the woods. Some men improvised some impressive charcuterie boards, and the kids seemed impressed!

The Bachelorette Season 20, Episode 4: Worst moment: Group date after-party

Ahhhhh. My mind is melting.

Brayden and the men head to the group date after the party, and the men immediately attack Brayden about the same things as the previous weeks (he might not be ready for an engagement after one date with Charity? Gasp.)

I understand Charity’s frustration with the situation (if Brayden is having such a hard time despite Charity reassuring him, what else can she do??). Still, watching all the men consistently gang up on him is so painful.

Brayden eventually tells her, “I don’t feel like I’m capable of getting there in this environment.” It was refreshing to hear him call out the environment for how stressful it can be. It’s not about his feelings for her; it’s truly about him being almost forced into the villain role with the men he has to LIVE with 24/7.

Aaron B. was ridiculous, telling Charity afterward, “It was so hard seeing you like that,” and not taking any responsibility for the fact that HE was the one who brought it all up again that night! I can’t.

That was quite an episode, wasn’t it?
