The Bachelorette Season 20, Episode 3 recap: Foul play in Oceanside
3. A Park of their own
For Warwick’s one-on-one date with The Bachelorette Season 20, they got to experience an amusement park on what should have been an ideal, spectacular date. I should because the date was boring when Warwick simply couldn’t carry on a conversation. He said that amusement parks tire him, but come on, man.
At one point in the date, he said communication was his biggest weakness. Well, that was quite evident on the date. Charity had to steer the conversation, and Warwick never had a clear answer to her questions. They were not a good match.
They went to an ice cream parlor, and Charity had to scoop her ice cream, and there were several moments where he looked entirely checked out. As the SUV drove him away, he constantly yawned and fell asleep while the producers interviewed him.
4. Foul play
At the cocktail party of The Bachelorette Season 20, Episode 3, Charity got to spend quality time with many men. Joey shared some personal letters from his grandpa, Xavier knitted her a sweater, and Brayden reflected on their one-on-one date. However, back at the resort, Brayden expressed some doubts about being able to propose at the end of it all.
He had a great conversation and kiss with Charity during the cocktail party, leading him to be arrogant around others. Some of the men started to question his intentions and ability to see the process through. Aaron B. pulled Charity aside and said he was becoming protective of her and her feelings and had to tell her about what Brayden was saying in the house.
This made Charity a little sick to her stomach after how well their date went and the words and promises that were said there. Several men didn’t get a chance to talk to Charity. Brayden approached Aaron B after his talk with Charity because he looked stressed, and Aaron revealed what he told Charity. The two had a heated discussion before parting ways.
Brayden was very fired up because he felt it was taken out of context and wasn’t anything he hadn’t already told Charity. Meanwhile, Charity was taking a breather to gather her thoughts. The more she thought about it, the worse it got. She then sought out Brayden and was unafraid to do what hadn’t been done on The Bachelorette before and take his rose away.
They had a very intense conversation where Brayden doubled down on his feelings and tried to be honest with Charity. He said he couldn’t commit to a proposal yet since Charity hadn’t met his family, and he hadn’t met hers. He felt that was the more honest truth than a man who said he was ready to propose tonight despite meeting the families. Of course, Charity ended the party early and moved right into the rose ceremony, with several men not getting to talk to her.
