Another Monday, another night of The Bachelorette Season 20!

Charity moves things along on The Bachelorette Season 20 as she dives into relationships with the 14 remaining men. Things start to heat up as a villain starts to come to form in the mansion.

They also heat up as Brayden starts to draw the eye of Charity and the envy of the rest of the house. In the teasers for this episode, it looks like he expressed some doubts about an engagement which is kinda the whole point of the show. Let’s find out what happened on The Bachelorette Season 20, Episode 3!

The Bachelorette Season 20, Episode 3 recap

1. The drama ensues

After last week’s drama, Charity greeted the men the following day and revealed that the mansion would go mobile to Oceanside, California. She also told them Brayden would be the one going on the one-on-one date as the others took a bus to Oceanside.

Many men were obviously jealous, but after last week’s events, the tensions were higher than usual after Brayden’s actions. Several thought that he may not even return from the date. However, Charity revealed that she felt an instant connection with Brayden and wanted to get to the bottom of his commitment questions.

Brayden and Charity took a helicopter ride to Oceanside, where he grew up. They landed in Petco Park, home of the San Diego Padres, his hometown team. They bonded over playing catch and hitting baseballs in America’s #1 ballpark. Brayden hit a home run to seal the deal with a kiss from his favorite lady.

After they settled down in the outfield, Brayden discussed his concerns, and Charity gave her thoughts on the process. This conversation boiled over into the dinner date, which was also at the park, where the two discussed Brayden’s comments and actions from last week. He went into more detail about his past relationships and being cheated on. This process has him back in that headspace of being cheated on.

Charity asked him if he could continue The Bachelorette Season 20 like this. Brayden said he would stick it out because he wants to get to know Charity more and that she is worth trying for and battling through the pain. Ultimately, he walked away with a rose and a chance for another week with Charity.

2. A Barbie girl in Charity’s world

Back at the Oceanside resort, the rest of the men were greeted with a date card which revealed that everyone but Warwick would be going on the group date. With a play off the Lion King and Barbie, the date card read Ken, you feel the love tonight. Many men were left questioning their placement, with everyone wanting quality, one-on-one time with The Bachelorette.

Charity welcomed the men to their Barbie-themed group date, where they found that JoJo and Jordan would be hosting the date. It was revealed that the men would be dressing up as Ken and writing a song to sing to Charity, all to the tune of Girls Just Want to Have Fun.

While some feared singing in public, all the men tried their best to win Charity’s affection. Little did they know that the crowd was large for the group date. Arguably one of the largest crowds for a The Bachelorette group date. Dotum led things off, and the rest attempted to sing in public.

Caleb shocked the crowd and the rest of the mansion when he stepped up and belted out his song with an angelic voice. Sean capped things off, and while he was a little out of tune, he was intentional and heartfelt with his song that won over Charity in the end. This meant he got to spend a little extra time with Charity walking the boardwalk while the rest of the men went home to change.

As the men arrived for the end of their group date, Sean came in singing his song, which brought the mood down and irritated some of the guys. He doubled down and was the first to pull Charity after the toast despite spending extra time with her. This didn’t sit well with the group.

Dotum got special time on the group date, going to Charity’s room to spend some alone time with her. She felt this would be the best way to get to know the real Dotum, and it showed. He opened his heart to Charity which ended in a long, intimate kiss to end the date. Ultimately, she gave the group date rose to Dotum on The Bachelorette Season 20 Episode 3.
