Welcome to the premiere night power rankings of The Bachelorette Season 20 premiere! This season, Charity Lawson is the leading lady ready to take on dating 25 handsome men all at once! Premiere nights are usually chock full of different guys giving us their life stories in front of the camera, goofy limo entrances, and even some tears and heartache.

Here, we will go over the top five guys of the night, from worst to best, and why they landed where they did on this week’s Power Ranking!

Who made it on our top five from The Bachelorette Season 20 premiere?

From worst to best, the top five men of premiere night are in this week’s power rankings from The Bachelorette Season 20!

Aaron B, The Bachelorette
ABC/Craig Sjodin /

#5: Aaron B.

Here’s why I think that Aaron B. deserves the #5 power Ranking spot from premiere night:

  • He got the third kiss of the night.
  • Charity’s big bro, Nehemiah, although in disguise, really seemed to like him too

I know it’s only been the premiere night, but I’m not entirely sold on Aaron B. I understand that everyone has a right to their opinions. However, I didn’t quite see or get the hype that Nehemiah was seeing in him. He probably saw much more than we all at home, but I still didn’t get it.

Who knows? Maybe he’ll prove me wrong this season and become my fave (Just kidding, that’s always gonna be Caleb B.)!

#4: John

Here’s why I think that John deserves the #4 power ranking spot from premiere night:

  • He got the second kiss of the night.

The lead on the show must like you whenever they decide to kiss you on night one. While I don’t think that John will end up going that far this season, I believe he’d make a great addition to Paradise in this upcoming season. Thoughts?

#3: Spencer

Here’s why I think that Spencer deserves the #3 power ranking spot from premiere night:

  • He showed some pretty intense bravery by telling Charity about being a dad.

Kudos to him for not hiding anything on night one and sharing with Charity that he has a young son. He got super emotional during one of his ‘confessionals’ about potentially not getting a rose and sharing that he sometimes questions whether he is a good father.

Something’s gotta be said for all of the single parents on this show! They will always have a leg up with me because they have to sacrifice much more than legitimately anyone else that will ever come onto this show. I love them ALL! Make your son proud, Spence!

Xavier Bonner, The Bachelorette
ABC/Craig Sjodin /

#2: Xavier

Here’s why I think that Xavier deserves the #2 power ranking spot from premiere night:

  • He also got the very first kiss of the night and the season.

Much like Aaron B., whom we discussed above, I’m not 100% sold quite yet on Xavier. Again, it was only night one, so obviously, a lot will change, but I can see our tallest king this season (6’6″) going far with Charity and maybe even falling in love!

Brayden Bowers
ABC/Craig Sjodin /

#1: Brayden

Here’s why I think that Brayden deserves the #1 power ranking spot from premiere night:

  • He got Charity’s first impression rose of the season.
  • He got the fourth kiss of the night.

He genuinely seems super excited to be ‘dating’ Charity. So far, he’s shown legit the most enthusiasm out of anyone else this season. While some of the guys were mistaking it for him being just a bit cocky and overconfident, I think he was genuinely excited that he felt such a great connection with Charity right off the bat, post-make-out sesh. Good for you, Brayden! Continue with that enthusiasm about your woman, and you will make it far, dude!

Top limo entrance from premiere night: Nehemiah certainly surprised Charity tonight!

Worst limo entrance from premiere night: John Henry–not bad, just silly.
