5. Brother tells all

Nehemiah had his chance to talk to Charity after he revealed he was undercover on The Bachelorette Season 20. He focused on Brayden’s overconfidence, explicitly saying it bordered on arrogance and entitlement. He cautioned Charity about making the wrong decision, and she reassured him that she would take out the luggage herself if needed.

After their conversation, Charity addressed the room and called Brayden out specifically to talk to him about his attitude and response to their kiss. Brayden tried to defend himself, but it was hard to tell if Charity believed it. After their discussion, Charity needed a moment to collect her thoughts before deciding on Brayden’s standing in the mansion.

Charity returned after a moment of reflection. She took his thoughts and feeling as a positive note and ended up giving the first impression rose to Brayden in a shocking turn of events. She was excited to have a man that is there for her and proud to be there with her.

They returned to the group together arm-in-arm, laughing about their time together. Charity revealed that Brayden got the first, first impression rose.

6. The first rose ceremony

Now for the first rose ceremony of The Bachelorette Season 20! All 20 men survived the cocktail party, but only one was safe from elimination. Brayden, having received the first impression rose of the season, was safe from elimination on night one.

Charity elected to keep 13 men in addition to Brayden. At this point, it’s easier to say who went home than who remains. Taylor, the 32-year-old loan officer. Peter, the 33-year-old airline pilot, and Nic, the 32-year-old HR executive, went home. In addition, Chris, Khalid, and Joe joined them on the ride home.

From the teasers previewing the rest of The Bachelorette Season 20, Charity does find her person but at what cost? She may catch feelings for a couple of men with whom she could see a life. Only time will tell as the rest of the season unfolds as Charity hopes to find true love.
