Clayton Echard will not be on the next season of Bachelor in Paradise

Clayton Echard will not be going to Bachelor in Paradise this summer. According to his Instagram live earlier this week, he will NOT be on the new season.
For anyone hoping for something different, I’m sorry to report that the former Bachelor is holding off any heading to the beaches of Mexico for another chance at love. Curious minds may wonder, is this because he is with someone right now? Perhaps someone we all already know?

Why isn’t Clayton Echard going to Bachelor in Paradise?
In a video posted on his Instagram, made available courtesy of TikTok user @mariahkat, Echard states, “Alright, so I see some speculation on the Internet of whether or not I will be going to ‘Paradise,’ So, I’m setting the record straight today. I am, in fact, not going.”
But before he ended the video, Clayton Echard did state that he would be participating in his first-ever dance class. Could he be headed to Dancing with the Stars or another reality dance competition? Tune in to see what happens there!
It would have made for an interesting Bachelor in Paradise season if Clayton had decided to go to the beach for another shot at love because another rumored contestant has been Gabby Windey. Imagine the two exes tried to rekindle their romance. Would it work? Would it fail? We’ll never know, or at least not this next season, anyway.
I am not entirely sure I want them to reunite in that capacity anyway, given how the season ended, but hey, second chances are rare, so if it presents itself, maybe they’ll take it.
Wouldn’t that be a doozy?
