The Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise have officially been renewed at ABC for another season. Did we have any doubts? No. But did it make us nervous not to know until now? Absolutely.

I believe these shows are the types of shows that will never get canceled. They have a long life ahead of them, and I’m happy to be along for the ridiculous ride. Please give us more!

The Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise aren’t going anywhere!

According to Deadline, this renewal will mark the 28th season of The Bachelor and the 9th season of Bachelor in Paradise. It will certainly be a new chapter for the franchise as these seasons will be the first of its kind without former showrunner Mike Fleiss.

Following misconduct allegations, Fleiss left back in March of 2023. It is unclear who is stepping into the role, unless I completely missed that announcement. In that case, let us know in the comments below!

The renewal announcement comes a little over a month before the next season of The Bachelorette. Charity Lawson is leading that season, and it is gearing up to be exciting, as she was a fan favorite during Zach Shallcross’ season. I’m looking forward to seeing what happens on her journey, and I wish only the best for her!

As far as The Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise go, the viewership still seems to be on the up and up, despite the odds. Given how much hate has been directed at the shows, it is surprising that the renewals haven’t stopped. I believe it is the nature of these types of shows, and we will likely see them go on for a long time rather than the alternative.

dark. Next. Bachelor in Paradise: Brandon Jones and Serene Russell have broken up

I can’t wait for more shenanigans on the beach and in the mansion!
