Zach Shallcross and Kaity Biggar just recently got engaged on the finale of The Bachelor Season 27–and they are still together…and happy!

The woman who ‘came in second,’ Gabi Elnicki, was close friends with Biggar while the two were on the show together. Many fans have wondered if, given the circumstances, the pair will remain friends or if having such a close friendship is awkward. We’re here to answer all these questions, so stay tuned!

Will Kaity Biggar and Gabi Elnicki remain close friends?

Kaity Biggar and Gabi Elnicki were probably some of the closest friends we’ve seen from the franchise. They shared a room and some pretty epic hot tub/bathtub dances that have since been turned into BFF memes across social media.

However, many fans were concerned and wondering if the two would remain friends, given what happened during Fantasy Suites on the show.

In a recent interview with Bachelor Nation, Kaity revealed that regardless of what happened at the show’s end, they have remained tight with each other, and nothing is weird or awkward between them. She also revealed that she, Gabi, Ariel, Jess, and Mercedes plan on traveling to Miami together at the end of the month.

When asked about Gabi, here’s what Kaity had to say about her:

"Gabi has a heart of gold. She actually told me about the mud puddle comment after we finished filming. She’s like, ‘Oh, my God, Kaity, I don’t know if they’re gonna air this, but this is what I did.’ And we were just howling about it."

Biggar shared how she and Elnicki’s tried and true friendship all started from day/night one of the show. They “had each other’s backs the whole entire time.” Towards the end of the show, Biggar even told Shallcross himself how great of a woman that Elnicki was and how hard his decision was going to be to make.

Biggar stated how “grateful” she is to have “such amazing friendships” come out of this show.

When Kaity was asked about the infamous Fantasy Suite, here’s what she had to say about it:

"I wasn’t in his shoes. I think he has such an amazing heart and he just didn’t wanna muddy the waters, but obviously…it did."

Concerning the comment above, Kaity also stated that she and Zach both used that particular week to grow their love and relationship and that it really and truly made them stronger together as a partnership.

We are seriously so happy for Kaity and Zach and obsessed with Kaity and Gabi’s friendship!
