Sean Lowe was a big part of The Bachelor Season 27. He showed up throughout the season to mentor Zach Shallcross and then stopped by the After the Final Rose special to discuss the season.

As weird as it was that Sean Lowe was there, it makes a lot of sense. During his season, fans will recall that Bachelor Nation called him the “virgin Bachelor” in 2013. During that time, Lowe revealed that he had been celibate for a very long time and would not sleep with anyone on the show.

Clearly, he and Zach had a lot in common regarding the “no sex” rule. However, Lowe has thoughts on what he thought of Zach’s decisions and whether or not he felt Fantasy Suites were handled properly.

What do you think he said?

Sean Lowe comments on Zach Shallcross’ Fantasy Suites

“[He navigated the overnights] terribly. … I kid,” Sean said, according to US Weekly. “I think Zach is in an extremely difficult situation. It wasn’t my game plan. He asked me how I might approach it. I kind of told him my opinion, [but that] doesn’t mean he has to follow it. Obviously, he feels guilty for the way things occurred, but, you know, I think he is strong enough to get through it. At least he was open and honest. At least he got it out of the way now, and it was not something that came up weeks from now.”

That is a very nice way of putting it, Mr. Sean Lowe.

Sean married Catherine Giudici in 2014 after the couple fell in love with The Bachelor. They now have three children together–Samuel (6), Isaiah (4), and Mia (3). Sean and Catherine are one of a few couples with the people they left the season with. Besides Ryan and Trista Sutter, who left the season together and are still married, two other couples left the season together. Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Jason Mesnick proposed to other people at the end of the season but changed their minds last minute and went with the runner-up.

It was quite a fiasco, but alls well that ends well!

Here’s hoping that more Bachelor Nation couples end up like Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici!
