The Bachelor Season 27, Episode 10 recap: Fantasy Suites!
7. The Rose Ceremony
Nothing was said about how Kaity’s and Zach’s fantasy suite date on The Bachelor Season 27 went. After they spent the night together, the next shot was Ariel arriving at the rose ceremony, where the final two would emerge.
Zach talked to Jesse before walking to the podium, and Jesse reiterated how everyone makes mistakes in this process, but in the end, Zach was truthful and honest, and that’s what mattered. Zach entered this ceremony with one woman who doesn’t know what happened with the other, one who feels like her trust has been betrayed after intimate secrets were revealed, and one who may have a rift in her relationship with Zach.
Before giving out roses, he noted how difficult this process has been and that he has upset some women this week in his journey to find true love. His first rose went to Kaity, who accepted the rose graciously. This left the final rose to be given out to either the woman he had sex with or the woman he didn’t have sex with. In the end, Zach gave the rose to Gabi, who accepted. That meant that Ariel was the odd woman out.
She held her head high and listened to what Zach said. He said this was the hardest thing he had to do and went on about Ariel’s positive attributes and how he was thankful she opened her heart to him. She said she couldn’t have done this with anyone else and praised him for being open and willing to accept her heart.
Zach returned to his two remaining women, Gabi and Kaity, to preview the next week. They would be meeting his family before the final decision was made. Before Zach walks up, Kaity tells Gabi that she knows she is the one that Zach had sex with. Gabi feels like she has been singled out, and the thoughts of doubt and anxiety are creeping back in.
