The Bachelor Season 27, Episode 4 recap: Drama on the Docks

THE BACHELOR - Ò2703Ó - Zach enters a crucial week of getting to know his women, full of surprises and exciting guest appearances. First up, an intimate one-on-one date at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles with an ending like weÕve never seen?before. 5. Mudding for Love

Brooklyn was the last woman standing in the resort and received her first one-on-one date with Zach who picked the most perfect date for her. The two rode four-wheelers around the island splashing in mud, which was no stranger to Brooklyn racing horses. The two went tandem on one ATV as Zach whisk her away in the Bahamian wilderness.

The two landed at the beach for a private picnic on The Bachelor Season 27. They talked, they kissed, and they fist-bumped after the kiss. They pushed past this initial awkwardness and plunged into the ocean for another make-out session. Zach was hoping that Brooklyn would open up more since she was still nervous and guarded around him. That is what dinner dates are for.

There was a reason Brooklyn was holding back and it was for good reasons. She went into detail about how her grandparents were her role models for what a great relationship should look like. However, she didn’t want to end up with someone like her dad but ended up in that situation nonetheless. She noted that it was not only emotionally abusive but physically abusive at times. One day she woke up and decided to leave the situation but may not be here today if she hadn’t.

Zach received this in the best manner possible and reassured her that she deserved more than what she has been through. He now saw the true Brooklyn and felt more confident in their relationship and the awkwardness that they may have suffered before. It all made sense now to Zach. Brooklyn accepted the rose from Zach and the two were serenaded to conclude their date.

6. Rose Ceremony

The women prepared for yet another rose ceremony for The Bachelor Season 27 and their last chance to make an impression on Zach before he made his final decisions. Three women already had roses; Kat, Ariel, and Brooklyn. The women discussed in their interviews the drama brewing again in the house ahead of the cocktail party.

Zach addressed the room and gave a short speech about how he had to follow his heart and that he didn’t make these decisions lightly. With that being said, he asked to speak to Anastasia first to hopefully put to bed the drama, again. This made the other women nervous because they wanted the time with Zach and didn’t want the night to start with a negative vibe. the couple came walking down the stairs as Anastasia mouthed the works bye guys.

With this move, Zach proved that he has no time for drama on The Bachelor Season 27 and believes in this process so much that he wants to do it right and focus on the women who want to be here and who he wants to be here. Kylee was pretty upset with this move believing that she caused it. In a way, she did bring it on, but in the end, it is Zach’s decision about how stays or goes, at least for the most part.

Charity was the next woman Zach pulled but for a much opposite reason. Zach affirmed her standing and their relationship despite getting the one-on-one attention she received before. Kat had another special moment with Zach pushing their relationship even further. Davia was starting to feel strong emotions setting in after seeing other women get time with Zach who already had a rose while she was still waiting for her chance.

Her chance came and she pleaded her case to Zach to stay on this journey with him. As Kylee was waiting for her chance to clear the air with Zach, Jesse walked in saying that the cocktail party had concluded and they needed to prepare for the rose ceremony. Kylee contemplated leaving the show right then and there but decided to stick it out for the ceremony.

Charity received the first rose followed by Kaity who appears to be two frontrunners for Zach. Gabi received the next rose despite missing out on most of the group dates because of her allergy. Jess got her rose next and accepted graciously. Zach gave the next rose to Mercedes followed by Aly. Greer received the second-to-last rose in a bit of a surprise. Competing for the final rose were Davia, Kylee, and Genevieve. In the end, Zach chose Kylee who had been waiting anxiously to hear her name called but had serious doubts it would be her.

After the ceremony, Zach revealed that The Bachelor crew would be moving, again, to London for the next leg of their journey. As the connections grow stronger something disrupts their time with Zach being shown on a screen as if he was isolated.
