The Bachelor Season 27, Episode 4 recap: Drama on the Docks

3. Beach Bash

The group date was up next and Zach revealed it would be a slower pace date exploring the island together and eating good food. This date felt more like a beach party in someone’s backyard as one woman pointed out. However, this date couldn’t have been worse for Gabi who is allergic to shellfish and felt left out in most of the activities. Definitely one of the first awkward date situations on The Bachelor Season 27.

Anastasia was stealing the show and trying to make an impression on Zach which started to upset the other women. She stole him away for some time while the other women watched on anxiously on this group date. This didn’t sit well with Kylee who made a move to break up their talk so she could have time. There was some back and forth between the two women that ended in Kylee getting some alone time with Zach.

Trouble was now brewing between Anastasia and Kylee since there were rumblings that a fight was brought up. Anastasia was trying to paint a picture that Kylee would fight Anastasia in the literal, not philosophical sense. That wasn’t exactly what was said but it was open to any interpretation.

4. Bahama-Drama

Zach passed out a lot of validation at the after-party reassuring almost every woman of their relationship and standing with him. However, this was not without drama as Anastasia and Kylee brought up their conversation again. Kylee beat her to the punch and talked to Zach first and explained herself and her word choice.

This conversation is where the rumor of Anastasia only being there for Instagram followers as Kylee pointed out to Zach. She did say that she didn’t hear it firsthand but heard it from Charity who heard it firsthand. Zach chatted with Charity before addressing the group about being on The Bachelor for the wrong reasons. He then promptly pulled Anastasia to put the rumors to bed.

Anastasia doubled down on the fact that she is here for the right reasons and wants to find her best friend and wants to explore her relationship with Zach. She did say that she talked to the other women about the brands she represents on social media and how she can hook up other women with her contacts after the show. Zach said he had a lot of thinking to do and walked away.

In the end, Zach did give out a rose and ended up giving it to Ariel who had a conversation with Zach after the drama and brought up their talk about their biggest fears. This didn’t sit well with Anastasia who felt like she was being targeted and sabotaged.
