The Bachelor Season 27, Episode 2: Best and worst moments
By Julia Wagner
Monday night’s episode of The Bachelor Season 27 gave us new drama, some returning villains, a requisite helicopter ride, and an early-season family visit!
I can’t say it enough, I (along with everyone else) find the deep voice of Zach Shallcross very soothing. It really helps me stay calm through all the drama in the mansion!
Let’s get to the best and worst moments of episode 2!
The Bachelor Season 27, Episode 2: Worst moment: Tahzjuan denied
While it was great to see some familiar faces (longtime Courtney Robertson fan here!) on the group date, it did not end so well for Tahzjuan when she asked Zach to join his pack of women.
Zach pretended to consider the offer but ultimately told Tahzjuan he could not have her join the season.
This was so uncomfortable and sad. I assume Tahzjuan was led to believe Zach would be psyched to have her join, only to be let down. I guess after a few seasons she shouldn’t be surprised when the producers lead her down a path!
It’s okay, Tahzjuan. Even bad bi****es cry sometimes!
The Bachelor Season 27, Episode 2: Best moment: Christina Mandrell’s date
Okay, this date gave me some serious throwback Emily Maynard vibes, another Southern single mom. Remember on Brad Womack’s season when they had dinner in a barn and she told him about her daughter? Such nostalgia!
I really liked that Zach showed he was overwhelmed by the idea of becoming a stepfather so soon. We finally got to see some of his personality!
It’s about time we got a Bachelor who didn’t pretend they would immediately be ready to take care of a kid as soon as they get off the show. It reminded me of how Gabby handled the Nate situation. Refreshing!
See you all next week for another episode of The Bachelor Season 27!
