5. The Rose Ceremony

Despite crying at the end of their group date, Gabi had her shining moment with Zach during the cocktail party and sealed the deal with a peanut butter cup kiss. He met with more women kissing almost all of them while Brianna watched from the sidelines. She noted getting America’s rose maybe set her up for failure.

Christina joked with her on night one and said she hated her, which may have been slightly overblown. However, Brianna did walk in with a leg up on the competition, already having a rose on night one. She got her chance to talk with Zach tonight and started to tell him what happened, but Zach tried to steer away from the drama and said that if it’s settled, then they don’t need to discuss it.

He also noted that tensions were high in the mansion. Zach also noted that he felt Brianna was putting walls up, and he wasn’t sure what he was doing wrong to try to connect with her. She didn’t have a good answer, and the two ended their conversation with a hug and no kiss…which is unusual with Zach.

Finally, we reached the ceremony where Zach would send three unlucky women home. Heading into the ceremony, Katherine, Christina, and Jess already had roses which meant 14 more women would join then. Brooklyn roped her way into Zach’s heart and received the first rose. Genevieve was next followed by Greer, who received the first impression rose of The Bachelor Season 27.

In that order, Zach chose to keep Aly, Charity, and Katy, who is teased about having an overnight one-on-one date next week. Gabi received a rose after receiving validation from Zach during the cocktail party. Although rather shocked, Ariel, Anastasia, and Kylee all received roses next. Four roses remained, with Davia getting the next one. The final three consisted of Mercedes, Bailey, and lastly Brianna, who won America’s hearts.

This meant that Cat, Kimberly, and Victoria J would leave the show. Their ending was short and sweet, but next week’s teaser showed more drama is in store. Zach jumps out of a plane for love and into the drama brewing at the mansion. Christina is slowly becoming the house villain after Katy does the walk of shame after a one-on-one date turns into an overnight date with The Bachelor. Next week is going to be interesting.
