Zach Shallcross and the thirty women waiting to meet him kicked things off on night one of The Bachelor Season 27! Now that the nerves have settled and the ten women have gone their separate ways, Zach is ready to continue the journey to find his true love. After a night in the mansion, the women are also ready to see if Zach is Mr. Right.

Night one showed that Zach knows what he’s looking for in a woman and isn’t afraid to send someone home early, as we saw with Madison. He wants to narrow the field and build strong connections with the women still here. Let’s find out what transpired in the second episode of The Bachelor Season 27!

The Bachelor Season 27, Episode 2 recap

1. Lotta Women in the Mansion

The women are officially welcomed to The Bachelor mansion to open the second episode of The Bachelor Season 27. Jesse Palmer met the women at the mansion and let them know that everyone would be going on a date this week with two group dates and one one-on-one date. Roses will be available on each date. The first date announced was a group date featuring the one and only Latto.

She brought the energy and welcomed Zach out to meet the women. They kick things off with a dance party before Latto tells them that more women will join them on this date. The new women are Victoria, Tahzjuan, and Courtney, from previous seasons of The Bachelor. These women weren’t brought on to compete for Zach but to judge the show…more on this later. Now the contestants took turns walking down the runway, trying to impress Zach.

Some were good, and others were not…now their attention was turned to the mic, where each woman talked about a time they stood up for what they believed in and didn’t let anyone tell them no. Latto gave her seal of approval to the women and sent them to prepare for the after-party. Something was brewing on the judges’ couch as Tahzjuan started to get her eyes on Zach.

2. Big, Big Drama

During the after-party, Zach tried to catch up with some of the women he missed on night one. Brianna was having tough feelings knowing that America gave her the rose instead of Zach. She broke down in front of Zach, and the two talked it out and ended the conversation with a kiss. So far, all the women have been nice to each other…until Tahzjuan crashed the first after-party of The Bachelor Season 27.

She talked with Zach and asked if she could join his season to explore a relationship with him. He had to take some time to think about it, and while he was thinking about it, the women confronted Tahzjuan, who didn’t have the nicest things to say to the women. She had some humbling news for the girls letting them know that they all can’t marry Zach and only one will come out in the end.

Zach took Tahzjuan aside and returned without her. He declined her request to join this season which left her in tears. Zach decided to give the first group date rose to Katherine, who had an excellent conversation with him to start the evening.
