The Bachelor Season 27, Episode 1 recap: The night it all began

7. First Rose Ceremony

After that difficult conversation, Zach walked into his first rose ceremony, where he had to choose what women to keep after only getting small conversations with them. Twenty-seven women are left vying to get a rose from Zach during the first rose ceremony of The Bachelor Season 27. He was ready to narrow the field with 18 roses left to hand out.

The first to receive a rose was Christina, who rode in on the party bus and had a nice conversation with Zach. Next, he chose Charity, who bonded with him over working with children. Bailey received the next rose after stealing a kiss from Zach after getting out of the limo. Jess was next, who had a late conversation with Zach, but it was enough to earn her place. Genevieve was the fifth person to receive a rose, who had him change a fake baby’s diaper.

Davia and Aly were up next, followed by Brooklyn and Kaity. Anastasia received the next rose, followed by Kylee, Gabi, and Katherine. Five roses were left, and the women were starting to get nervous. Mercedes, and Henry, received a rose for their efforts, followed by Ariel and Victoria J. Two roses left, and Zach gave one to Kimberly. With the last rose of the opening night, he elected to keep Cat, who had been panicking for the last seven roses. She even threatened to burn down the mansion if she didn’t receive one. This was all after feeding him meatballs.

The Bachelor Season 27 premiere episode concluded with a teaser for what is to come on this season. It looks like the women gon on an actual journey with Zach traveling around by land, air, and sea. Many women say they are falling for Zach, and he tells a few he is falling in love with them. However, this journey is not without drama, as many women end up in tears. But in the end, it seems like Zach may have found his person, but do they end up together?
