Bachelor Nation stars are reflecting on how their 2022 went

Rodney Matthews

#TeamRodney and #RodneyMatthewsForTheBachelor, am I right?! I mean, come on. He would be the perfect Bachelor, and we all know it good and well. On his Instagram, he stated that he never expected to be 30 and single; however, he used 2022 as his year. It was his year to focus on himself and his personal growth and mental health.

Rodney also stated some of his main points and takeaways from 2022. He states that he’s much more confident than he was a year ago and how proud of himself he is. And let’s be honest over here…we are so d*** proud of you too, Rodney! Keep working, keep growing, and keep being you!

Tyler Norris

Tyler celebrated living independently this year, which to him was quite the celebration. He truly focused on celebrating himself in 2022. He stated some of his highlights from this year, and they were as follows: (1) finally being okay walking into a holiday party and facing the question of ‘no girlfriend again this year?”, (2) He gave love a shot finally, (3) He traveled the world by himself and with friends (mostly shirtless), and finally, (4) He enjoyed embracing the physical and mental scars that he earned and got along the way. We’re so rooting for you, Tyler! Love you, bud!

Michael Allio & Danielle Maltby

Okay, so I couldn’t go legit one second without talking about Mom & Dad of Paradise. So, this year, they met, fell in love, and expressed their love for each other on live television right in front of us. I could barely hear or see them because I was crying so hard and loud.

More recently, they’ve visited Danielle’s family up in Wisconsin and are celebrating NYE of 2022 in Chicago (hello, neighbors!). We learned that James, Michael’s son, calls Danielle…Dannyelle is one of the cutest things I’ve ever heard of.

As far as 2023 goes for Danielle and Michael…Dani will move to Ohio, though in her own apartment, to be closer to Michael and James. I wish you three the best and all the health and happiness that 2023 has to offer! Cheers, y’all! I love you guys so so much!

Jacob Rapini

He posted a nice video recap of his 2022 on his Instagram, and of course, the thumbnail photo was how he arrived in Paradise…wearing just one singular leaf over his you-know-what. Anywho…he also said quite a few nice words in the caption. He focused on the transition in his career, moving from San Diego to Arizona back in 2021 (the year prior).

He also reflected on his time in Paradise and all the things that went right, and he also highlighted what sort of mistakes he made (and we’re so d***proud of him for admitting certain things…check his caption over on Insta). He’s looking forward to 2023 and hopefully a new him! You go, Jacob! We love and support you a lot!

The Bachelor Season 26, Clayton and Susie, Clayton Echard

Clayton Echard

This year, I’ve noticed that Clayton was focusing on giving awareness to men’s mental health, and for that, good for you, Clayton. We’re all super proud of you!

Second, following a break-up with his chosen lady, Susie Evans, Echard was learning how to navigate life single and out of the spotlight. If you read one of his most recent posts on Insta, he does a great job highlighting certain things to focus on if you’re feeling the same way he has, following exiting the spotlight and post-relationship status life.

He’s also launched an online fitness coaching business that allows his clients to focus on fitness, nutrition, or both, the best of both worlds! I can only say that Clayton is doing an excellent job at life, and a side note, he makes some delicious-looking 5-star breakfasts no matter what his DM response to me says. Good for you, Clayton! Keep working and doing a great a** job!

Sierra Jackson

At first, following her gaslighting of Michael post-Paradise and digging into him, I was anti-Sierra. Then, I just started not to care. I still cannot stand her, but I wanted to give her a little shoutout. To end 2022, she created and starred in her very first music video, and to start 2023, she is releasing it to the public (after some previews on Instagram). Good for you. I don’t care, but good for you—all the best, girl. Stay away from Michael. I like him much better!
