The Bachelor Season 27 will have less drama and is more “emotionally charged”

The Bachelor Season 27 is a little less than a month away, and we cannot wait! Zach Shallcross is the leading man this time, gracing Bachelor Nation with his presence from Rachel Recchia and Gabby Windey’s season of The Bachelorette.

His time as a contestant wasn’t that memorable, nor did he leave me with a lasting impression. But it appears this his heartbreaking split from Rachel put him on the map and caught the producers’ attention.

Fast forward to the present, and Zach will be the lead on The Bachelor Season 27. Funny how life works out sometimes, right?

Before the start of every season, fans wonder how much drama will be infused within every moment. Usually, it is a lot of drama but according to an interview host Jesse Palmer did with US Weekly, there will be less drama this season.

…Do we believe him?

The Bachelor Season 27 will have “less drama”

I really want to believe Palmer when he says this, but I just can’t. Season after season, the drama is the main ingredient, and without it, the show usually falls flat. If there really is no drama, then how will the season fare?

Palmer shared, “It’s really all about the love story and romance and a little bit less about the drama.” He goes on to say, “The women are really into Zach. Zach’s so emotionally mature, and he’s a guy that’s not afraid to wear his emotion on his sleeve. He’s very, very intentional. This is easily the most emotional show that I’ve hosted in the franchise.”

I mean, he hasn’t really hosted that many, so to say “the most emotional” could be a stretch coming from Palmer. Again, I’m not as enthusiastic about this “less drama” nonsense. It’s just tough to think that they could manage a season without it.

Time will tell whether or not The Bachelor Season 27 lives up to the Palmer hype! I’d really love for it to be focused on the emotional aspect of this journey more than what they usually try to aim for. Wouldn’t it be a great change of pace to focus on the lead’s emotional journey and what he’s actually going through?

I’d love to see that but again going to hold all judgments until the season premieres.
