It has been a minute since we’ve seen Chris Harrison, hasn’t it? Ever since the controversial season of The Bachelor that got him booted out of the franchise, Harrison has been in his own world. In case you’ve forgotten, he got himself wrapped up in the controversy surrounding Matt James’ season. After making questionable comments about Rachel Kirkconnell’s link with attending an antebellum party, Harrison was asked to exit the franchise.

Losing Chris Harrison was a weird transition for the Bachelor franchise because he had been there since day one. Replacing him took some time, but we’ve found someone great with Jesse Palmer. In any case, the ex-host is set to make a return, but not in the way you might think.

Chris Harrison to launch his own podcast

Earlier this week, Harrison announced that he will be starting a podcast called, wait for it, The Most Dramatic Podcast Ever…With Chris Harrison. If that doesn’t have you ecstatic about the podcast, then the official description most certainly will:

"For decades, Chris Harrison was the voice of all things love and relationships. From fantasy suites to dumpster fires, he’s seen it all and now he’s bringing it to you with The Most Dramatic Podcast Ever…With Chris Harrison. Fans can expect to hear Chris open up like never before. Using his unparalleled expertise, he will dig into all things relationships every week. Fans will no longer just be going along for the ride, they’ll be up close and personal with Chris as he navigates through dating, marriage, love, loss, and more. For the first time ever, Chris will discuss everything, and there’s no telling what he will have to say."

It’s interesting to think about the timing of the podcast and why Harrison has decided to release this podcast now. Is it possible that he was legally bound to keep things quiet? And maybe the NDA is over now, and he can talk about his entire experience.

There is no guarantee that he will talk about The Bachelor at all, but it’s still an exciting prospect. Many of us have been wondering what the heck went down and what his side of the story is. Things happened quickly back then, and he never got to tell his perspective on things.

But putting that all aside, it will be a fun podcast to listen to, regardless. Based on the description, Harrison will discuss relationships and all the nuances of being in them. In my opinion, there is no one better than to do this. He’s been in the industry for a long time and has seen all kinds of relationships form and break.

It’ll be fun to see what he has to say!
