Bachelor in Paradise Season 8 couple Brandon Jones and Serene Russell were instant fan favorites when they began their love story on the beach. It was an immediate connection; from day one onwards, they were inseparable.

It wasn’t long before viewers knew that these two were endgame. After watching the rest of the couples struggle to no extent, it was refreshing to see the Bachelor in Paradise Season 8 version of Hannah Godwin and Dylan Barbour.

Seriously, don’t they remind you of those two?

Bachelor in Paradise Season 8 couple talks about the future

It has not been very long since these two got together, but it has been at least six months in real time. With that in mind, we are all wondering–when are they tying the knot? And what are their plans for the future?

While chatting with PEOPLE, Serene and Brandon opened up about their upcoming plans and what life together will look like. “Every day has been a journey, like something new every day,” Serene said. Brandon jokingly responded with, “I’m so sick of that word, ‘journey!’”, but went on to say, “No, every day, it’s been great.”

Since the Bachelor in Paradise Season 8 finale aired, Serene and Brandon have been settling into life together. They no longer have to keep their relationship a secret and can openly be out and about. While the season was airing, they secretly moved in together in San Diego and had to resort to sneaking around so no one would find out.

The couple also shared that they spent Thanksgiving with Serene’s family and will spend Christmas with Brandon’s family in Oregon. And as for wedding bells? They both shared that they are just trying to enjoy the engagement and take every day as it comes. According to Serene, the tentative plan is for 2024, giving them more than enough time to figure out all their plans for their big day.

Honestly, I couldn’t be happier for this couple. They were so calm and chill during Bachelor in Paradise Season 8 and reminded us that when you know you’ve found the one, you really know.
