Gabby Windey and Erich Schwer have officially called it quits! This might be the record for the quickest breakup in Bachelor Nation history (but don’t quote me on this, I’m sure there’s been shorter). Fans started speculating something was up when they noticed that Gabby wasn’t wearing her engagement ring while on Dancing with the Stars.

She then made a cryptic comment about each doing their own thing and following their interests. Could it be that Gabby has found a new passion in dancing, and love wasn’t where her heart was anymore? Not sure, but it may be a possibility.

Less than two months after The Bachelorette Season 19 finale, the couple has decided to part ways–and we’ve got some of the tea below!

It’s the end of the road for Gabby Windey and Erich Schwer

It’s unclear why the couple decided to break up, but there has been drama since they got engaged in The Bachelorette Season 19 finale. This includes problematic texts and images of Schwer in blackface in his high school yearbook. I’m not sure if this, coupled with the reality of the real world, was too much for them, but their story is not unique.

For both flagship shows, relationships rarely last a year following the finale. Because these shows aren’t equipped for reality, the couple doesn’t know each other that well. Bachelor in Paradise, however, is more realistic since the contestants spend much more time together.

Anyway, Gabby Windey and Erich Schwer are no longer a couple, and I know that might make a lot of you sad. They were quite cute, and they did make me want to believe in love. However, their foundation was shaky, especially with all the drama that unfolded before the proposal.

Yet another Bachelor Nation couple bites the dust, sigh.
