Olu Onajide has created a lot of drama during the last couple of weeks on Bachelor in Paradise. Interestingly, no one knows what he did, but it’s clear that the women who spent time around him were not the biggest fans.
Along with the women, Brandon Jones has been very vocal about Olu’s “disgusting” behavior on his social media but did not provide more context. So what exactly did Olu Onajide do? And why are the rest of the women choosing to talk about anyone but him?
Bachelor Nation sleuths have been trying to get to the bottom of it, and here’s what they know so far!
Olu Onajide’s Bachelor in Paradise drama
Fans have watched the Split Week drama unfold during the last two weeks of Bachelor in Paradise. The original women were asked to leave the beach while the men stayed behind. A group of new women came down to the beach while a group of new men met the ladies in the resort.
New connections were formed on the beach, but at the resort, things were slow to start. Most of the women just wanted to get back to the beach, and their men and the new group of men were struggling to make any connections at all.
Amongst the men that arrived were Olu Onajide and Rick Leach, amongst others.
After some time, host Jesse Palmer asked Olu and Rick to leave since they did not make any connections with the women. Viewers hadn’t seen much of Olu at that point, so whatever drama unfolded was behind the scenes.
After the episode aired, Brandon took to social media to proclaim his disgust over Olu’s “disgusting actions.” A comment was made on Reddit where someone said that Serene did not need to freak out over losing Brandon because he’s head over heels for her. In response to that comment, Brandon said, “If they choose to not show the disgusting actions that man did next couple episodes you better keep me off a podcast.”
It’s all very confusing and points back to what Olu did. The other women in the resort with Olu did not seem to talk about him. Everyone mentioned Rick at some point, but it’s like Olu did not even exist.
Redditors have been speculating, and all anyone can think is that maybe Olu was being pushy with the women. Maybe he was coming off as aggressive, and that is not the side the producers showed in the clips we saw of him.
It’s all very interesting, and I’m wondering if we will see the aftermath of this drama play out on Bachelor in Paradise this week. Whatever Olu Onajide did, it’s clear that people are not happy with him!
What the heck happened with Olu and the rest of the crew?!
