Bachelor in Paradise Season 8, Episode 6: Worst moment: Ganging up
Oh my gosh. After Peter suggests that Brittany might be in Bachelor in Paradise for clout (aren’t they all?), a group of the women (Jill, Genevieve, Brittany) decides to form a mob and force him to leave.
Was this necessary? Peter was likely going to be sent home anyway due to… not getting a rose from anyone. He was definitely in the wrong with the Brittany situation, but it did not need to escalate to this level.
After the women’s takedown didn’t result in Peter immediately leaving, the men decided to form a redundant mob of their own to kick Peter out, telling him he is “disrespecting ladies.”
Who did he disrespect besides Brittany? He’s not the most pleasant person in the world, but did he do anything so unspeakable?
This just felt so unnecessary and overly dramatic. Why can’t they just let Peter leave without giving him a rose?
A beach-wide overreaction!
Bachelor in Paradise Season 8, Episode 6: Best moment: the shrimp!
Shrimp tacos! Shrimp with green sauce! Chocolate-covered shrimp!
James and Logan are in a war to impress Shanae, and James wisely chooses to dazzle her with her beloved seafood.
I had forgotten all about the Shanae-inspired shrimp gate from Clayton’s season.
I wish they did more throwbacks to the hilarious moments from people’s Bachelor/Bachelorette seasons. It would be fun to revisit the moments that made us love these people in the first place.
Hopefully, they will do more of this in the future! I think it’d be a fun way to mix things up on Bachelor in Paradise and make it more fun.
Another week, another episode of Paradise!
