Tuesday night’s episode of Bachelor in Paradise brought new men to the beach, some couple switch-ups, and of course, more crabs.
Some parts (okay, most parts) of this episode were painful to watch, but it wasn’t without its funny moments.
Let’s get to the best and worst moments of episode 3!
Bachelor in Paradise Season 1, Episode 3: Worst moment: Justin and Genevieve
At the rose ceremony cocktail party, Justin and Genevieve sit down to have a nice little chat. Except it wasn’t nice at all.
This was the most painful talk to watch. It consisted of both accusing the other of being defensive, not understanding how the other was feeling, and a sadly uneaten and unappreciated birthday cake.
Biggest question: How in the world did this talk end in a rose?
The talk was made even more pointless and strange because Genevieve went on a date the next day, undoing what little had been accomplished with the talk.
Sigh.
Bachelor in Paradise Season 1, Episode 3: Best moment: Boys are back in town
I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I missed Aaron and James. I wasn’t a huge fan of them in previous seasons, but it was nice to see some familiar faces who weren’t taking anything seriously.
Aaron and James arrived on the scene looking genuinely happy and excited, talking about the waves going over the sand “ like butter on pancakes” and how “the only lotion is the ocean.” Much needed comic relief!
They storm the beach shirtless and evoke many jealous glances from the men and lusty glances from the women.
The new boys waste no time inviting Genevieve and Shanae on a double date.
Since the girls were enemies in their season, this was not surprising but entertaining.
We’re so happy Paradise is back!
