When does The Bachelor Season 27 premiere?

The Bachelor Season 27 officially has its lead in Zach Shallcross, and honestly, I’m quite excited. I really loved watching him as a contestant, and I think he could make a great lead.

ABC was deciding between multiple former contestants for the next Bachelor, including fan-favorite contestant Nate Mitchell. I’m going to assume that he was passed over after his recent drama, so they went with Shallcross.

Not a bad choice, if I do say so myself.

When does The Bachelor Season 27 premiere?

During The Bachelorette Season 19 finale, we found that Shallcross would be the next Bachelor, but we also got some extra treats. ABC introduced us to five upcoming contestants during the “After the Final Rose” special. In an unexpected twist, ABC let the fans vote on which women would get the first impression rose.

Brianna, one of the five women, was the one who got the rose and was saved from eliminations during week one of The Bachelor Season 27. I totally love that twist, and I hope that they continue to keep up the tradition in future seasons.

I think the next season of The Bachelor will be quite interesting because Zach has a different personality than our recent Bachelors. This sense of excitement about him and his kindness makes me excited to see how he does.

Unfortunately, ABC usually bungles it up, so I won’t be too excited but I’m still cautiously optimistic. Time will tell if I’m completely wrong!

The Bachelor Season 27 will premiere on Monday, January 23, on ABC at 8 PM EST!
