The Bachelorette Season 19, Episode 6: Best and worst moments
By Julia Wagner
This week’s episode of The Bachelorette Season 19 brings us to the lovely city of Amsterdam!
I cannot believe we are already a week before hometowns! Maybe it’s because each Bachelorette has fewer men than usual, but the groups seem to have dwindled quickly.
I suppose we are an episode ahead—usually, hometowns are week eight, but it looks like they are week seven this season. This season is flying by!
Let’s get to the best and worst moments of The Bachelorette Season 19!
The Bachelorette Season 19, Episode 6: Best moment: Gabby’s guy chat
After sending Nate home, Gabby visited the guys for emotional support.
This was absolutely precious. When some of the men got emotional in return, my heart just melted. Did anyone else feel the same way, or was that just me?
The guys seemed genuinely concerned about her, and it felt like a real moment rather than a reality TV moment. Jason and Johnny hugged her at the same time. Ahhh, so cute.
Group hug!
The Bachelorette Season 19, Episode 6: Worst moment: Awkward dancing
At the end of Rachel and Zach’s lovely one-on-one, they stumble upon a random orchestra and proceed to, surprise…dance!
This is probably my least favorite Bachelor/Bachelorette trope–a couple made to dance, by themselves, literal feet away from live musicians. I can’t imagine anything more uncomfortable.
How long do they have to dance? Do they talk with the musicians after? What if they don’t know how to dance? How often should they kiss? These are the questions. It just makes me want to fast forward.
See you all next week, Bachelor Nation, as we head into hometowns week!
