The Bachelorette Season 19, Episode 5: Heroes and Villains
This fifth week of The Bachelorette Season 19 had its fair share of heroes and villains!
Welcome to the fifth week of The Bachelorette Season 19! No matter how you look at it, I truly believe that the new two leading ladies, the Bachelorettes themselves, Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia, will do a fantastic job. I say this despite whatever other people have to say about it. It’ll be interesting to see how this double lead thing works out!
More for the future? We shall see, folks, we shall see!
Be sure to let us know in the comments about your thoughts on week five now!

Okay, let’s talk…
So this week, it seemed like the groups of guys was getting so small, but that’s because the guys are split into two groups for each respective Bachelorette. Logan officially announced his return to Team Gabby. Most of the guys weren’t okay with it, and it seemed as if Rachel just hated his guts and seemed to make some sort of ‘stink face’ every time they were on the screen together. Oh, well. Rachel, deal with it. Gabby, follow your heart!
The Bachelorette Season 19, Episode 5: Heroes
#1: Logan
I know what some people may think of my opinion, but here it goes anyways…
I honestly think “good for him” is certainly better than how Clayton handled every episode of his own season. He was being super respectful of both women by talking to them separately. He was never really being a d*** to either woman and handled it the way you’d want a guy to handle it on the show. There’s a lot of pressure being on the show, and just like Gabby and Rachel are encouraged to, Logan should have the same right to follow his heart and be with Gabby!
#2: Gabby
First of all, I love that no matter what, Gabby can almost always find her goofy side and bring it out. Second of all, I’m glad that she was super honest with Logan and that she ultimately decided to follow her heart. Imagine being her and never exploring a mutual connection…you never know where she and Logan may end up (although I don’t want them to).
Here are two more reasons why I love her and why she’s the superior Bachelorette this season:
- She checked in with Rachel first to make sure that letting Logan into her group of men was okay with her (not that I care)
- She went completely out of her way to buy some authentic Belgium chocolates for Nate’s daughter (but hopefully, he doesn’t have to take those home to her too soon)
#3: Ethan
Normally, I only do two heroes and two villains; however, this week, I was super impressed with Ethan’s character and caring personality, although I already did without this week. Here’s exactly what I had written down in my notes:
- “So f*****g sweet for checking on whiney pants.”
