Last week’s episode of The Bachelorette Season 19 had us scratching our heads and rolling our eyes. It was all kinds of ridiculous and stupid, especially as yet another contestant switched sides…again.

Before this season started, there were a lot of reassurances that this season would be great and that the women would not be hurt in the process. Of course, we didn’t believe them, but still, it would be nice to have followed up for once.

Over the last five weeks, we’ve seen that Rachel Recchia has not been doing well. The contestants aren’t giving her much attention and have treated her poorly. In addition, they keep switching over to Team Gabby.

I don’t know what is happening or if the producers are working their “magic” behind the scenes, but it’s nonsensical. I don’t know why I keep any hopes for the show to do something right for once, but it’s nice to be hopeful, isn’t it?

Tonight’s episode will run for two hours on ABC from 8 PM EST to 10 PM EST. The journey will continue in Bruges, Belgium, and include a “cheesy weightlifting competition.” I’m not sure how that tells us anything about love, but okay, we’ll roll with it.
