The Bachelorette Season 19 returns with a new episode tonight, and I have to say, it will be interesting. Based on the synopsis, the remaining contestants will participate in a beauty pageant. I’m not sure what that will look like, but if you’ve watched seasons/episodes in the past, you have an idea of what to expect. It’s usually unnecessary, silly, and, quite honestly, a waste of time. But it is what it is.

During last week’s premiere episode, three men were sent home because Gabby and Rachel didn’t feel a connection with any of them. They were pulled to the side instead of being eliminated during a rose ceremony because the women felt the others didn’t get a fair chance to talk to them.

Many people didn’t like how they handled that portion of the episode, but I think it was better than being disrespectful to everyone. Why push for it if there was no connection with the men they sent home?

Anyway, tonight’s episode should be interesting and filled with all sorts of surprises–of the beauty pageant variety. Let’s just hope that it’s better than what we’re expecting and that we will finally get the drama we’ve been hoping and waiting for.
