Remember when everyone was curious as to how The Bachelorette Season 19 would be filmed? More specifically, whether it would be chaotic as heck trying to balance 30+ men between two Bachelorettes? Well, it looks like it certainly was not easy, and it is not something the producers particularly enjoyed having to work on.

Nick Viall shared some details on his podcast The Viall Files about what The Bachelorette Season 19 will look like. This is helpful for us because we have gotten no clues about the structure of how things will work, so thank you Mr. Viall for that.

According to Viall, the season will feel a bit like Bachelor in Paradise. A part of the season was filmed on a cruise ship so that is quite fitting, don’t you think? He also had some other details to share which you can read more about below!

The Bachelorette Season 19 will be…interesting

It looks like everyone’s concerns about Gabby and Rachel being pitted against one another can be put to ease. Viall confirmed that they won’t be competing for men but there is a catch.

“[…] if it doesn’t work out, like if, let’s say Gabby was like, feeling it with ‘Frank.’ ‘Frank’ could be like, ‘Rachel, sup?’ There’s a little bit of like, options, right? And the thing about Paradise, what makes it different is people have options,” said Viall.

That could be a recipe for disaster and now it makes sense as to why the producers said it “was hell to film”. But the contestants pursuing more than one Bachelorette wasn’t all they were stressing about. Apparently, the season was scheduled and designed to only have one Bachelorette as it always does. Last-minute, things changed and they ended up having two leading ladies.

“[…] said it was hell to film because they decided to have two Bachelorettes, like, last second. So the scheduling was for one Bachelorette. They had to jam it all in. And then I asked, I’m like, ‘What if it goes really well, like, this is a hit?’ … The people I talk to, they hope they never do it again. Just because of the logistics. I think, a cruise ship probably was the challenge,” Viall shared.

A cruise ship with all those contestants trying to get with the Bachelorettes? Yeah, I imagine there weren’t many places to escape to when things got bad and dramatic. I feel for the producers but I guess these types of twists and turns come with the job!
