Ever since the second season of Bachelor in Paradise, the fan-favorite series has been filmed in Mexico. Specifically, at the Playa Escondida resort right outside Sayulita, a beautiful beach town in the Puerto Vallarta area.
The sandy beaches of Paradise have become just as iconic as the series itself with the location serving its own identity. We’ve talked about this many, many times but Bachelor in Paradise is the best show in the franchise.
It’s fun, exciting, and way more realistic than all the other shows. Plus, all the couples last way longer than they do on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. It just makes me so excited that the show is finally returning in just a short few months.
The iconic filming location of Bachelor in Paradise
Since Paradise shifted its location to the Playa Escondida resort, it’s been quite the hot tourist spot. According to Peer Space, there are 25 huts on the resort which rent out for about $400/night. The huts provide a view of the jungle and/or beach but if you’re looking for some privacy, there are some secluded areas too.
In Bachelor in Paradise, the filming takes place right on the beach–and it is gorgeous! So many love stories have come to fruition and there are so many more that are yet to develop. We can’t wait to see what happens in Season 8.
Any predictions on who we will be seeing on the beaches of Paradise in September? Perhaps former (and now single) Bachelors or Bachelorettes will be making an appearance. Hey, it worked for Becca Kufrin so you never know!
Can’t wait for Paradise to begin!
Tune in for the Season 8 premiere of Bachelor in Paradise on Tuesday, September 27 on ABC at 8 PM EST!
