Bachelor in Paradise has been renewed for Season 8

BACHELOR IN PARADISE - ““709” – There’s more than one storm brewing this week in Paradise. Picking up right where we left off, a devastated Kendall shares a tearful confession with her former beau, but a coupled-up Joe just can’t tell her what she wants to hear. Then, guest host Lil Jon attempts to turn up the heat, bringing in two new guys who are ready to make up for lost time. Meanwhile, some couples are taking it to the next level while others hit stumbling blocks, but things only get more complicated as clouds roll in and Paradise is forced to take a break from the beach. When the clouds part, even if there isn’t a lot of damage from the storm, that doesn’t mean there won’t be a mess to clean up on “Bachelor in Paradise,” TUESDAY, SEPT. 21 (8:00-10:00 p.m. EDT), on ABC. The announcement we have been anxiously waiting for is finally here! Bachelor in Paradise will return for Season 8 as it was renewed just this week by ABC. Bachelor Nation has been getting antsy about the announcement because we had not heard a single thing about it.

In fact, rumors were running rampant that the series might be canceled and not returning at all. I’m so glad that this wasn’t the case because of all the shows this franchise has and has had, Bachelor in Paradise is my favorite one. It’s just the most realistic one, you know?

As far as who will be coming to Paradise, when it will air, and any other details, we’re still waiting to find out. ABC didn’t release all the major tidbits just yet, but it is only a matter of time before we find out!

Amongst that news, we will also find out who the new host is for the series. During the most recent season, there was a revolving door of celebrity hosts coming in and out with Wells Adams the usual resident bartender. It’s unclear if the next season will operate with the same format or if someone else will take over on a more permanent basis. This could mean Jesse Palmer will continue to host or maybe, just maybe Wells Adams (we can only hope!).

When will Bachelor in Paradise Season 8 premiere?

As I mentioned, ABC has not released a premiere date as of yet. However, if I had to guess, I would say it is either going to happen fairly soon (like May/June) or after Rachel Recchia and Gabby Windey’s season of The Bachelorette. If it is the latter then the show would premiere later than usual so I’m not sure if that will happen. But I do think it will be in 2022!

Who will be on Bachelor in Paradise Season 8?

Along with the premiere date, we are also in the dark about who will be heading to the beaches of Paradise. There are a lot of contenders including Rodney Matthews and Shanae Ankney, amongst others. I did see that Genevieve Parisi retweeted the official Bachelor in Paradise with the shifting eyes emoji so perhaps she will be heading to Paradise.

Traditionally the contestants are primarily from the most recent seasons of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette with some outliers from seasons past. I’m excited to see who ends up coming because it is usually the couples from this series that end up staying together (Hannah G. & Dylan; Serena and Joe).

Maybe we’ll see yet another successful love story come out of this!

Next. The Bachelorette creator says there is “no drama” between Gabby and Rachel. dark

Yay for the return of Bachelor in Paradise!
