The Bachelor Season 5: Jesse Palmer

The Bachelor Season 5 featured the youngest Bachelor yet in 25-year-old Jesse Palmer. Jesse broke ground as the first professional athlete and non-American to lead the show. He was drafted into the NFL by the New York Giants. He played for the Giants from 2001 to 2005. In the summer of 2004, he took his turn on The Bachelor.

Despite the infamous mixup at the rose ceremony, Jesse ended up with Jessica Bowlin. Although he didn’t propose the two elected to continue exploring their relationship. They split up weeks after the show ended. He went on to marry Emely Fardo in 2019. Since The Bachelor, Jesse has been a host or analyst on several shows across a variety of networks. Recently Jesse took up the mantle as the host of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette to guide the leads through their journey to find love.
